Ep. 70: Detoxification as a Lifestyle

Podcast

Detox has become quite the buzz word over the past several years – and for good reason! But do you really know what detox is, the role it plays in your overall health, and how you can best support your body’s ability to detox effectively?

I know how overwhelming this topic can be, which is why in today’s episode I’m breaking it all down for you, specifically focusing on how to support your body through implementing simple, daily detox habits.

What You’ll Hear:

  • What detox is and is not
  • Which organs are the most important for detox
  • Why I believe your body was created to heal
  • Why external health issues are typically symptomatic of internal issues
  • How to support your health through daily detox habits

Tips & Recommendations:

  • Stay properly hydrated
  • Drink lemon water in the morning
  • Eat an anti-inflammatory, organic diet
  • Get good sleep
  • Consume food-based probiotics (ex: kombucha, kefir, water kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, etc)
  • Dry brush your skin (I like this dry brush)
  • Take epsom salt baths
  • Get regular exercise
  • Get fresh air and sunshine
  • Practice grounding or earthing
  • Perform coffee enemas
  • Use an infrared sauna
  • Use a castor oil pack
