JEH #30: How to Eat Healthy & Intuitively

Podcast

In this episode you’re going to hear me address the issue of learning to eat intuitively while still making sure to eat and live healthy.

This is something I struggled with for a long time. I didn’t want to follow a set of rules, instead wanting to trust my body to tell me what foods I needed.

But, when I let up on the rules I would go wild and crazy with falling off the bandwagon and eating lots of sugar and overall way too much food. It was SUCH a struggle (and I’m guessing I’m not the only one who struggles with that, right?!)

Tune in to hear me answer these four main questions:

1. How do you love your body and eat intuitively without compromising your health?

2. How do you eat healthy when you don’t follow a set of rules?

3. What is the key to eating healthy and not falling off the “bandwagon?”

4. What if you’re struggling to see changes and intuitively eating seems like it’s not for you?

Sponsor Spotlight: Beautycounter

Did you know that the personal care industry has very little regulation in our country?

Companies are allowed to include known toxins in their products – ingredients that are liked to hormone disruption, fertility issues, cancer and more.

And they aren’t required to disclose these ingredients with you.

Sounds wrong, right?

I have been aware for a number of years that our personal care products don’t have enough regulations in this country to be called safe.

I’ve known I needed to switch my products and throw away some of the more toxic things.

My problem was that I couldn’t find products that worked well!

Everything I tried left my skin feeling dry and my makeup looking like I hadn’t put anything on after 10 am.

It was a problem and I wanted to give up trying to find good and safe products…that is, until I discovered Beautycounter.

Beautycounter is committed to a health and safety standard that goes well beyond what’s required by U.S. law.

They’ve banned the use of more than 1,500 questionable or harmful chemicals through their “Never List”—all while ensuring their products perform and that they’re as indulgent as any other luxe shampoo, lipstick, or oil in the market.
