This is one of my favorite ways to start my morning. I’ve never been one who wants to start my day with coffee. I know, you’re thinking I’m crazy. I love coffee, but I love my coffee midmorning or after lunch. In the morning I love this cleansing detox drink.
I have mornings where I get going and forget to drink a glass of water. And pretty soon it’s 10:00 and I haven’t had a drop of water. It doesn’t happen a lot but it sure does happen. One way I can prevent that is by gearing myself up for this delicious morning drink. It tastes great, makes me feel super hydrated and know I’m starting my day really well.
1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice or organic pure lemon juice
1-2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar (more or less to taste)
stevia, to taste
dash of ground cinnamon
dash of ground ginger
small dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
dash of pink salt (for adrenal health and electrolytes)
Large Drinking Glass, filled with water
- In a large glass or quart sized mason jar combine all of the ingredients, fill your glass with water and stir to combine
- Best to drink in the morning, but really is good anytime of the day
