Description

The Healthy Living Toolbox is something I created to focus your efforts when you’re changing your health. It’s a way to identify the tools you need to work on or develop further, all while applying these tools to help you feel your best. The world of natural health is big, and my website and resources are designed around my Healthy Living Toolbox to help you bring order to a somewhat overwhelming topic.

My Health Living Toolbox is designed as a workbook to help you learn, create meaningful health goals, and narrow them down into actionable steps where you can see massive change in your health. The workbook has a page describing each Healthy Living Tool with additional resources for you to dig deeper into that specific tool and give you more information you made need or want. Each tool also has a work page designed to help you uncover specific areas you need to work on and set goals based on you. Not someone else, but the unique goals and challenges you have in this season of life.

My hope and prayer is that this workbook gives you direction, clarity, and peace about your health. I believe our bodies were created to heal. Change happens and habits are build when you do small things consistently. I want you to see your health goals in front of you, create doable actions towards those goals, and see your health change. I want you to experience increased energy, healthy digestion, better sleep, more fruitful relationships, food freedom, and so many more healthy things!

The girls and I are unboxing our goodies from Skou The girls and I are unboxing our goodies from Skout Organic. We have bought hundreds of the kid Skout Bars over the years. And their cookies, so delish.

They are all gluten free and made with healthy ingredients. Before Skout bar we were buying Larabars. Which are great in a pinch, but I didn’t love the non organic nuts and my girls eating them multiple times per week. So I bought the Skout bars and in my opinion, they are a lot better and come in more flavors.

I have to say, I still haven’t tried the lemon poppy seed cookies, but they are going to be sampled tomorrow and I can’t wait. It’s one of my favorite flavors.

Have you tried any Skout Organic products yet??

Friend…. I completed 15 pushups almost everyday in Friend…. I completed 15 pushups almost everyday in June. This is such an accomplishment for me. Let me explain.

I was going to make an even better reel, but I didn’t because tech takes too long 😉. So I’m going old school and writing a long post.

Ever since 2020 I’ve believed there is something wrong with my body. Chronic unexplained symptoms abounded. Some 24/7. For years!

And finally in 2024/ 2025 I realized a lot of my symptoms were from stress and fear. And they created a fear response of me avoiding, thinking my body was broken, and looking for a supplement/ detox fix.

And 6 months ago I said that’s enough. What if I’m really not broken? What if God’s healing is coming by Him doing a massive internal transformation in me?

I’m breaking down old legalistic beliefs, working on things I fear, putting less pressure on myself, realizing my symptoms aren’t dangerous, starting to workout in response to the belief I’m actually strong, and so much more.

Ultimately, surrendering and trusting the Lord is the root. It’s so spiritual in nature.

I’ve seen a lot of progress. And there is still progress to go.

But when I saw @alliebstuckey post about the push up challenge in June I knew I had to do it. I wanted to show myself my trength. That I can show up for myself. I can prove I can do it.

And I did. And I’m so proud of myself. I see my body, mind, and nervous system healing. And had to share this video. And let me tell you, this video is really more of a highlight reel for me and not you 💕. But please, join in with me in this celebration!!

And I want to tell you that you can show up well and balanced for yourself. Show yourself your body is strong because your body is strong! Even if there is healing and recovery that needs to happen, you are still so strong!

PS. I chose this song because of the greatest showman YouTube video of the first time she sang this. Iykyk. If not, go look it up. GOOSEBUMPS!!

Biohacking is such a trend. And really there’s not Biohacking is such a trend. And really there’s nothing inherently wrong with it.

But at its core if I say biohacking you are going to think, how can I do something extreme to level up my health? Right?

What it does is, it makes us believe that we need to have all sorts of special equipment, expensive supplements, and a really cool and flashy, and intense plan in order to have health.

But you can’t hack your way if you’re physical, mental, and spiritual foundations are not in place.

You will spin your wheels and you will create more stress and inflammation in your body.

Foundations, foundations, foundations!

I talk about this so much, but it is true. You need to do the foundations or all of the extra stuff is not going to work the way that it should.

Let’s all biohacking and let’s get back to the wonderful and amazing basics.

Plus, I’m speaking to an almost all women crowd. Here, biohacking doesn’t work well for women. Men can get away with pushing their bodies a lot harder than we can, and I believe our healing comes from softening, surrendering, and trusting the bodies that God gave us.

He bonus? Foundations don’t cost nearly as much as bio hacking 😉
My sweet girl sharing how we prep and make their s My sweet girl sharing how we prep and make their supplements for mineral balancing.

Orange juice is the sweet spot. We don’t do juice in the house so they look forward to it and the pulp helps to disguise the texture of the ground supplements.

Applesauce also works and so does kefir or yogurt. Really any juice will, but the orange juice with the pulp is the best and easiest.

One note to add… drink quickly. The supplements get a little thicker if they sit and not as good to take!
You are you. You are unique and your healing and You are you.

You are unique and your healing and your protocols are unique to you too!

You are an individual. We all have slightly different biochemistry, toxicity, nutrient status, stressors, past experiences, etc.

And this affects how we detox, absorb nutrients, think about life, think about healing, deal with stress, breathe, sleep.

There are so many people on this app sharing great information. Works for one person in the order that it worked probably won’t work for you.

And that may sound discouraging. But I want to sound hopeful to you.

Because you know your body better than anybody else. And you get to choose how to feed it, nourish it, support it, and who to get on your team to help you support your body.

Don’t try and follow what somebody else does on Instagram.

Your body is yours and it is for you. Don’t forget that!
