Ep. 137: My Mold Story

After a few stressful events, I experienced a health crash like I never have before in the summer of 2020. As a chiropractor and functional medicine provider, I have done so many protocols and good things for my health over the years. I would be feeling good but never great. Then I learned how a mold exposure years ago is affecting my health now.

Turns out that my body is not able to detox from mold which is a condition called CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) also known as mold illness . I was amazed to learn that it affects about 25% of the population and I never knew about it until just recently.

It has been quite the journey to get myself feeling more functional. I am not all the way better and maybe never will be but I can say I am feeling better now than I was back in the summer of 2020. Listen to hear all about my mold story.

I hope this episode is encouraging to you wherever you are in your health journey. You just need to keep fighting and find the right recipe. The Lord is with you even in the fighting. Believe that your body can heal.
