Weight Loss: You don’t lack Willpower!

Nutrition· Women's Health

weight loss you don't lack willpower

Weight Loss… if we are honest, this is something on a lot of peoples to-do-list. We all want to feel our best and want to be the weight we feel we should be at our healthiest. And weight loss can be frustrating! We are bombarded by all sorts of adds and articles about diets, cleanses, pills, potions and lotions all guaranteeing to help you drop pounds (and often times all to quickly and not in a healthy way).

Are you frustrated? Are you feeling like you’re at the end of your rope? Do you try “everything” and still feel like the scale doesn’t budge?

Guess what? You’re not alone and it’s not your fault!

It’s not a lack of willpower (We were created as strong and powerful)

It’s not because you’re haven’t found the right pill or lotion (Health doesn’t come in a potion)

It’s not a lack of the right diet (although choosing healthy, healing whole foods is important)

Let me say it again: It’s not your fault! Stop beating yourself up.

It’s more than your willpower. It’s deeper than that. It’s bigger than that.

Let’s figure out what’s going on:  It’s about your cells. It’s about your hormones. It’s about your gut.

You’re not lazy. You’re not a glutton. You’re not weak.

We are made strong. YOU are strong!

If you’re having trouble losing weight you need to dig deeper to your cell health, your gut health and your hormone health. Working on your cells and your gut and your hormones will help your body become sensitive. You will burn fat, have more energy and be signaling hormones to build health, lose weight and slash sugar cravings.

We need to constantly need to give ourselves grace

We need to remind ourselves our bodies are working for us and not against us

Tell yourself you aren’t lazy

Tell yourself you have the power to change your gut, your hormones and your weight
