Ep 108: Eating Healthy on a Budget

Is it possible to eat healthy on a budget? Absolutely, yes!

But here’s the thing: not everyone has the same budget and not everyone’s eating lifestyle looks the same.

What’s important is coming up with a budget and grocery list that fits within your lifestyle and expectations.

Full disclosure: I am not the best at this!

Admittedly, my family spends a significant amount on groceries each week.

We could probably shop a bit more frugally than we do, but for now, our process is working and we are happy with how things are.

So, I decided to poll my Instagram followers to get a good cross-section of responses and tips, and now I’m passing on everything I’ve learned to you.

If you’re curious to learn the average budget for different family sizes and some tips and tricks to help you stay within your budget, this is the episode for you!

What You’ll Hear:

  • How to navigate diet restrictions and lifestyle choices
  • How to find a grocery plan and budget that works best for YOU and your family
  • Why flexibility is so important (there’s no one way to meal plan, grocery shop, and budget!)

Here’s the take home…

I’m not the expert. I don’t have 10 tips for sticking to a strict grocery budget.

This is just to help be an encouragement and a practical guide for you based on what has worked for me and other women in your shoes!
