I get asked all the time if it’s safe for babies and children to get chiropractic adjustments, and whether or not I recommend it (which I wholeheartedly and emphatically DO!)
In this episode I’m joined again by my personal chiropractor and friend, Dr. Robyn Brostrom Martin, to discuss everything you need to know about getting your little ones adjusted for optimal health.
Dr. Robyn received her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, and found her path to chiropractic through personal experiences as well as a fascination with the human body and natural medicine.
She focuses her care on families and women’s health. This includes all ages, from newborns to the elderly, as well as prenatal and postnatal care. She is certified in Webster Technique and is currently completing her Pediatric Certificate with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
After chiropractic school, Dr. Robyn pursued additional training as a Birth Doula to assist women through the beautiful transition from pregnancy to motherhood.
Dr. Robyn currently resides in Eden Prairie, MN with her family and works with local families at her office, Family First Chiropractic, to provide the highest quality natural healthcare in Chanhassen, MN and the surrounding southwest metro area.

Sponsor Spotlight: Beautycounter
Did you know that the personal care industry has very little regulation in our country?
Companies are allowed to include known toxins in their products – ingredients that are linked to hormone disruption, fertility issues, cancer and more.
And they aren’t required to disclose these ingredients with you. Sounds wrong, right?
I have been aware for a number of years that our personal care products don’t have enough regulations in this country to be called safe.
I’ve known I needed to switch my products and throw away some of the more toxic things, but my problem was that I couldn’t find products that worked well!
Everything I tried left my skin feeling dry and my makeup looking like I hadn’t put anything on after 10 am.
It was a real problem and I wanted to give up trying to find good and safe products…that is, until I discovered Beautycounter!
Beautycounter is committed to a health and safety standard that goes well beyond what’s required by U.S. law.
They’ve banned the use of more than 1,500 questionable or harmful chemicals through their “Never List”—all while ensuring their products perform and that they’re as indulgent as any other luxe shampoo, lipstick, or oil in the market.
