JEH#39: Exercise Intensity and Frequency for Health

Podcast

JEH #39- Exercise Intensity and Frequency for Health

Exercise intensity and frequency is something that can be debated.  How much exercise is too much? How intense should your workout be?

My answer is something that might make some of you really happy (or maybe not so happy!)

I think exercise and moving your body is very important, but there IS such thing as too much exercise.

I believe the majority of the fitness industry is making us think we should be working out a lot more than we actually should.

In this episode I am dishing out 10 tips to help you figure out an exercise regimen that works best for your body, and how to know if you are OVER training and what to do about it.

When you are exercising, it’s not just about the moves or the reps that you are doing DURING the workout. It is also about the recovery AFTERWARD.

When you workout for an hour each day, you are doing so much more damage to your body when you don’t recover.
