Here’s something weird about me and avocados. I can’t eat more than 1/2 an avocado a day, I don’t know what it is, I just don’t crave more than that. Plus, I’m not a huge fan of eating an avocado plain. After I said that, I’m totally going to contradict myself because of this recipe. Now I like avocados, but not as much as guacamole.
Please allow me to introduce you to my dear friend guacamole. Me and guacamole, we are pals. I could eat an entire container of guacamole. And yes, I know guacamole is just avocados and a few extra flavors. There is something about that flavor or guacamole and using crunchy chips or veggies that make me have a hard time stopping.
This guacamole recipe is one I have been sitting on for a while. There’s no reason I haven’t shared it other than the fact I didn’t take a picture of the guac after I made it. (It does magically disappear). Out of all of the different guacamole recipes I’ve tried, this one is the simplest and I think the best and freshest tasting out there. And it’s easy because all you need is 4 ingredients.
The secret ingredient to this guacamole recipe is the lime vitality essential oil. I have a love for lime essential oil. I send it often as Thank You gifts, to new families starting to use essential oils, and somehow we have to have 4 opened bottles in our home right now (oops). The lime vitality essential oil comes in a 5ml size and is perfect for this guacamole. If you don’t have lime vitality oil, you could use some fresh lime juice, but it’s not the same. Let me know if you need some lime oil, I’ll show you how to get some!
Want an extra fiesta kick while you make this? Diffuse a little lime essential oil. It’s one of my favorites to add to almost any blend. My favorite scent with lime essential oil is with Purification.
Remember, I only recommend using Young Living Essential Oils if they will ever be ingested or cooked with. What you get at a health food store is not made to be taken internally. Whenever you cook with or ingest an essential oil, make sure you mix fat with it so it blends in. Remember, essential oils and water don’t mix.
