This last month I had a flare up of my gut. Why? I believe I was just dumping more toxins as I am getting healthier and my body had the ability to release more. And because of that big release it stirred up my gut. In my video below I had the choice to get upset and melt down or remember that healing takes time and that I needed to go back to the basics and remember what works with my body and to do that for the next 14 days. I needed to remind myself that healing takes time and I know if I need that reminder, you do too! I hope this video gives you encouragement during your healing journey.

Four Points to Help Remember that Healing Takes Time
1. If somebody or some product claims that you can get well in a matter of weeks or even months, it’s probably a get-healthy-quick scheme. It’s too good to be true (oh, but I wish it wasn’t). Our bodies are so complex and our cells take time to heal and need that time to regenerate properly.
2. Find what works for YOUR body! All of our bodies are different, find what works for you. For me it is fasting with whey water. It’s not easy for me but it works so I do this often for healing.
3. Set your mind right. Your attitude has a lot to do with healing. If your attitude is crummy then you will be healing less and you will probably feel bad too. And trust me, I’m not the queen of the best attitude, I have my moments! Our cells respond to our thoughts and our self talk, so it pays to have a good attitude. Healing is a journey and stress plays a major factor in disease in our country. Less stress equals more healing. Remember, you have the power to change your thoughts
4. Celebrate Success. Throughout this journey you will see success. It may be big steps or little steps. Whatever sized step, celebrate breakthroughs and accomplishments. If you see a little healing or a symptom decrease, make a big deal out of it. Because it is a big deal.
