Ep 111: Healthy Eating Hacks for Busy Families

Podcast

Sponsored by Beautycounter

Are we not all busy families?? And sometimes as moms, we don’t want to spend hours upon hours in the kitchen, but do want to put healthy meals on the table and spend time doing other things that are important (because there are other things to living this life than just food).

In this episode I breakdown 10 hacks you can start implementing into your life and into your week. Whether you’re a single college student, a mom of 1 or 4, when you’re eating healthy you’re spending more time in the kitchen. While eating healthy is very important there are many other important aspects of living a healthy life that don’t involve food. These 10 hacks will put healthy meals on the table seamlessly and give you more time enjoying your family!

What You’ll Hear:

  1. Keep it Simple
  2. Online Grocery shopping or Drive Up (watch upcharges and if you spend more)
  3. Purchasing healthy convenience food when you can
  4. Frozen when you need it
  5. Change when you make dinner (as often as you can) so the 4pm hour isn’t so hectic
  6. Make breakfasts and lunches (or prep things) the night before
  7. Weekend prep (COEAW). Don’t overprep
  8. Instant Pot
  9. Double recipes
  10. Stock up on the basics (flexibility and in a pinch)
