Homemade Ranch Dip

Sauces, Spreads & Condiments

Screen Shot 2016-01-25 at 5.40.31 PM

An old family recipe made healthy.

First and foremost, who doesn’t love a great ranch dip? This is an old family recipe that I grew up dipping fresh veggies in and also topping salads with it. It is healthy and is also so simple to prepare. You will never buy ranch dressing again (especially because it’s mostly made with bad oils like canola oil or soybean oil).

You can use this dip as a raw veggie dip or as a dressing to lettuce salads. We often have this dip on hand and pack it in our lunches with organic raw vegetables.

*If you want to make this into a salad dressing add 1/3 cup olive oil or avocado oil to the blender and mix until combined.

Ingredients

1- 8 ounce container of organic full-fat cottage cheese

1/2 powdered organic ranch dressing packet

1/4 cup almond milk or coconut milk

Directions

  • In a blender, add the cottage cheese, ranch dressing mix, and the milk or water
  • Blend on low for 30 seconds, then on high until smooth. If you need more liquid, you can add some and continue to blend
  • Stores in the fridge for 2 weeks
