Mixed Berry Trifle
 
 
This dessert is fancy, special but still easy to make and assemble. It's perfect for summertime and all of the outdoor get togethers it brings. I can't wait to make this, especially because I love the burnt butter pound cake.

  1. Wash the berries in a colander and let set to drip dry
  2. In a large clean bowl add the whipping cream and whip with a hand mixer until soft peaks form. Add stevia and mix together until whipped cream forms stiff peaks
  3. In a trifle dish or individual mason jars or cups start by spreading a very thin layer of whipped cream on the bottom. Next add a single layer of the pound cake pieces. Take a variety of berries and layer them on top. Finish the layer by spreading whipped cream over the berries. Continue this layering order until you reach the top of the dish and end with whipped cream
  4. Garnish with any extra berries, if desired
