I wrote an entire ebook with over 80 recipes that are grain-free and refined-sugar free. A lot of it is because I love dessert. But the bigger reason is because I want you to enjoy food without sacrificing your health.
I have a confession, I used to be an out of control sugar addict. Every second of the day I wanted sugar and it was ruling my life. All I could think about was the next sweet treat I could have, regardless of what time of day it was.
That changed for me. I got my body healthy and learned to love healthy food and healthy desserts. But it wasn't the easiest transition. I often felt deprived. I envied people who could eat whatever they wanted and still feel good. It felt unfair.
Then I found healthy dessert. I realized this was key to a balanced healthy diet. Recipes that taste decadent and full of flavor all the while being healthy and limiting very common food allergens such as gluten, grains, dairy and more.
With healthy desserts I didn't feel deprived. I was completely satisfied and I still got to eat some of my favorite desserts. Different ingredients, but the same great taste.
Plus, I felt great while still eating dessert. It's one of my passions to share the love of healthy desserts with others.
